99.5% Purity Dual Stage PSA Oxygen Generator

    • The Dual Stage, High Purity Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Oxygen Generating Process separates oxygen from compressed air, which consists of 21% oxygen, 78% nitrogen, 0.9% argon, and 0.1% other gases.
    • Utilizes a two-stage PSA process to generate up to 99.5% pure oxygen.
    • Stage One: Uses molecular sieves (synthetic zeolite) to adsorb nitrogen at high pressure and desorb it at low pressure, producing up to 96% pure oxygen.
    • Stage Two: Further purifies oxygen (95–96%) using activated carbon sieves to achieve up to 99.5% purity by adsorbing oxygen and releasing it at low pressure.
    • Argon separation after Stage Two increases oxygen purity up to 99%.
    • Carbon molecular sieves (CMS) help scrub impurities, enabling maximum achievable purity of 99.5%.
    • Typically operated at a design point of 99.0% to optimize output, though this results in about 35% loss from the original 95% oxygen stream.
    • Lower target purity results in less product loss.
    • Fully automated with smart valves and microprocessor controls for precise operation.
    • For 99% purity output, generators must have at least double the capacity due to product loss during purification.

    • Air is compressed to 10 bars via compressors.

    • Carbon Tower ensures consistent oil-free nitrogen output.
    • Two CMS tanks operate in pressurization, generation, equalization, and exhaust cycles.

Reliable Moisture Removal for Compressed Air Systems

    • Compressed air is always 100% saturated, leading to moisture issues upon cooling.
    • Excessive moisture causes corrosion and premature failure of pneumatic systems.
    • Desiccant dryers ensure dry air with pressure dew points ranging from 0°C to -72°C.
    • Air is compressed to 7–13 bars, filtered for particles, oil, and condensed water.
    • Drying is achieved through PSA tanks filled with Activated Alumina and Zeolites.
    • Each PSA tank operates in pressurization, drying, and exhaust cycles for continuous drying.
    • Desiccants adsorb moisture; regeneration is performed by depressurizing the saturated tower.
